Job Search Tools
Many occupations require specific tools. A successful job search also requires specific "tools." This chapter covers many of these job search tools and their uses. Information will be presented on personal data sheets, employment applications, reference lists, letters of recommendation, and performance evaluations. The idea of displaying abilities and accomplishments by using work samples will be introduced. Examples of thank-you notes and letters are shown along with suggestions for their use. The next section is devoted to resumes, a very important job search tool.
