Esben Anneberg Poulsen is COO and Senior Partner at Amby. He holds an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School. Esben began in consulting at Maersk Management Consulting and Arkwright Consulting, working on growth strategy and commercial due diligence for Nordic private equity funds and global software companies. In 2017 he co-founded Arkwright X, an early-stage venture investor whose portfolio included Spacemaker (acquired by Autodesk for NOK 2.4bn), Unloc, and Ignite Procurement, advising founders on fundraising and strategy. He spent nearly three years as COO of Unloc, again owning strategy and partnering with the CEO on fundraising and investor relations. He is passionate about applied AI, invests actively in B2B software and AI startups, and hosts the podcast Venture Capital in Scandinavia.
